With your arms relaxed at your sides, measure around the fullest part of your chest.
Measure around the narrowest part of your natural waist, generally around the belly button. To ensure a comfortable fit, keep one finger between the measuring tape and your body.
This pendant was inspired by a detail of the headboard of Marie-Antoinette's bed.
The roses and lilies brought together with a garland of cornflowers were directly inspired by the quilt project. In 1786, when Marie-Antoinette wanted to renew her summer furniture, i.e. the fabric decorating her grand chamber, the Garde-Meuble called upon an embroiderer from Lyon, Jean-François Bony, to produce bed and chair embroideries to go with the new wall hangings.
